Gould+Partners in October 2016 named marketing and communications veteran Sally Tilleray senior advisor, London/UK, for the M&A/Management Consulting firm.
The move boosts Gould+Partners global footprint and enables the firm to better serve its growing consulting services internationally.
Tilleray, who is non-executive chairman of Cognito and owner of Sally Tilleray Consulting, is responsible for facilitating transactions among buyers and sellers of creative services firms throughout the UK market.
Tilleray works closely with Rick Gould, CPA, J.D., managing partner, Gould+Partners, to enable buyers and sellers in the UK marketplace to gain quality sector access to the USA, the biggest PR market in the world. (President-elect Donald Trump has invited British Prime Minister Theresa May for a visit to the U.S., with Trump saying he “looked forward to working together,” according to Politico.)
The Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI) ranks London as the financial capital of the world, with New York City taking second place. Indeed, there are more American banks in London than in New York.
According to the UK Office of National Statistics (ONS). Britain’s services sector has defied expectations to continue growing after Brexit, an informal term for the United Kingdom’s planned withdrawal from the European Union following a public referendum in June 2016.
The Index of Services was estimated to have increased by 2.9 percent in July 2016 compared with July 2015, ONS said. All of the four main components of the services industries increased in the most recent month compared with the same month a year ago. Business services, such as public relations, is one of four main components of the services industries in the UK.
