New York, NY. Sept. 22, 2017/ — Gould+Partners is pleased to announce that it introduced the parties and facilitated Finn Partners recent acquisition of ABI Marketing Public Relations, a global marketing and PR firm focused on industrial and trade markets catering to B2B companies.
“Knowing the strategic needs of Finn Partners and the global presence and capabilities of ABI, I felt this was a win-win for both firms,” said Rick Gould, CPA, J.D., managing partner of Gould+Partners.
The deal expands Finn’s existing B2B portfolio and brings in a new roster of clients ranging “from multi-billion dollar, global organizations to entrepreneurial, regionally focused companies,” said Peter Finn, founding partner of Finn Partners, in a news statement.
Alan Isacson, founder and CEO of ABI, will assume the title of Managing Partner, ABI, a Finn Partners Company.
Founded in 1980, ABI has offices in New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Shanghai, along with multi-lingual capabilities such as French, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish and Russian.
The 35-person firm specializes in the automotive, aerospace, food and beverage and environmental sectors, among other markets.
“The B2B sector is really important for us but we have not been working in the industrial sector, so ABI is a great addition for Finn and brings deep expertise in doing B2B work for industrial companies,” Finn said in a video post accompanying the news release.
Finn stressed that ABI’s integrated marketing approach and thought leadership initiatives on behalf of clients also attracted him to the property.
Finn’s acquisition of ABI is the latest in a string of deals by the New York-based PR firm designed to expand its global footprint and bolster client services. The addition of ABI’s offices in Frankfurt and Shanghai will bring Finn Partners total number of offices globally to 16, and total headcount to about 550.
