Gould+Partners Releases 2017 Benchmarking Survey

Gould+Partners is pleased to announce the release of its 2017 PR Benchmarking Survey, which focuses on several key metrics critical to PR firm owners and C-level executives.

The goal of the survey is to collect financial stats stemming from many areas that are relevant to PR agency growth, profitability, operations and building value for the firm.

The 2017 Benchmarking survey marks the 30th consecutive year that Rick Gould, CPA, J.D., managing partner of Gould+Partners, has provided this all-important document to the PR industry.

“I have personally been doing benchmarking for the PR industry since 1987, and hope this 30th year as the acknowledged subject-matter expert will encourage PR firm participation,” Gould said, adding that owners and C-suite executives who participate in the survey are providing an invaluable service to the profession.

The deadline to complete the survey is March 24. To express our appreciation for participating in the survey, the firm will send you the full survey reports four-to-six weeks prior to the official release this summer.

These surveys include Best Practices Benchmarking Report; Billing Rates & Utilization Report; Industry Growth Report and Healthcare and Perks Policy Report. Only contributing PR firms will initially receive these comprehensive documents.

Once all responses are tallied and analyzed, the resulting Benchmarking Reports will show data by firm size, location and specialty. A comparison to the 2016 results and an analysis of industry trends will be included in the interpretation and insights.

As is our practice, your proprietary survey will be handled with complete confidentiality. We would be happy to send you a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) by request. If necessary, you may send the survey back anonymously (should holding company constraints require).

Sending an email to Rick Gould ([email protected]) indicating that you replied entitles you to the full report. Please note that Gould+Partners only compile and report on averages; the survey is not a “ranking,” and no PR firm names are mentioned.

“The importance of the survey results is twofold,” Gould said. “It provides a comprehensive analysis of the top business indices affecting PR firms profitability and provides a roadmap for how PR firms can adjust and/or reconfigure their P&Ls to maximize their bottom line and firm value.”
